Silky, deep slate blue and form hugging with a plunging neckline, Hermione admired the gown purchased to compliment her husband’s suit. Turning to the side, she noticed something small and green on her bum. Taking a step to the side, a step closer to the mirror, she peered at the green speck clinging to her dress.
Attempting to pluck the hitchhiker from the frock with her fingers, the emerald speck pierced her delicate skin.
“Ouch!” she exclaimed, sucking her forefinger for a moment before attempting it again. It was a little grass bur.
“How did you even get there?” she asked as she tried again. “Ouch!”
“Alright there?” asked a deep voice from the doorway. She turned her head, giving Sirius a coy, kittenish smile when he swallowed.
“I can’t get this sticker-y… thing, off of me,” she complained. She contorted slightly, twisting sharply at the waist, with her hip thrust forward. The dress’s material was pulled forward, sliding tight against her bum.
“Allow me,” said Sirius. His voice was a little hoarse as he spoke, his wand raised.
Hermione opened her mouth to thank him but yelped when the flick of his wand removed not just the tiny speck of green, but her dress as well.
“Sirius!” she exclaimed, and then grinned, recognizing that particular gleam in his eye as he moved toward her. “What about the gala?”
“What gala?” he purred, before pulling her fast and hard against his body.

Re: Late to the Party...
I love Sirius/Rosmerta. I really love the idea of a young Sirius with older, wiser more seasoned Rosmerta. Guess I have a thing for Sirius and generation gaps. One of my favorite writers does a splendid job with that ship.
Well,
Do you know Austin? I love living here. Lots to do.
