Congratulations to Team Canon for taking first place in the R/S Games!

And thank you mods for always putting on such a fantastic fest. I had a really great time! I'm always so sad to see the games come to an end.

I'll repost Anatomy of a Wound in the next few weeks. I want to go over it once more and first I need to finish up my Kinky Kristmas and R/S Small Gifts pieces. One just needs editing, the other is about a third of the way complete. I'll wrap it up this weekend.

My awards are under the cut. I swear, the games always makes me feel so loved. :)

I admit to being surprised at which way the votes tipped but not so surprised that they were incredibly close! The Remus/Sirius Games have always brought forth some fantastic fanworks but this year they were pretty much all high quality. I need to reacquaint myself with all of these goodies once the euphoria dies down a wee bit.

It is easier to remember each fabulous entry from the [livejournal.com profile] rs_career_fest even from just the masterlist for some reason...... Maybe it has something to do with the titles.

It's only two little points and some change. I think we're all winners because there is a ton of new art and fic.

I need to reread as well. We had a guessing game on the team comm and all my guesses except for one were right. (I didn't try to guess all of them, I meant out of the ten or so I gave a shot).

Well, the [livejournal.com profile] rs_career_fest was also half this size, maybe even less than that. There were less works to try and remember.

You're right, all of us fans benefit with so many shiny new treats! I wish we could get some others to read some of the AU stuff, like Di's tale about two gay friends trying, unsuccessfully, to meet the perfect man! That one would even work as original fiction.

There is a reluctance to read AU, isn't there? I've noticed that in some people. I don't get it, but I know what you mean. I'm at the point where I prefer AU, to be honest. Canon is so sad.

I don't think there is a reluctance to read AU. Look at the pairings list at [livejournal.com profile] crack_broom. At least half are not possible outside of AU's.

I just wish we could steal some attention from the more popular pairings like Harry/Draco or Snape/everyone. But actually, I guess R/S is "best friends fall in love." The other pairings like that are Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ron, dying out, and Seamus/Dean, George/Lee, never very popular. Plus of course, all of those are Trio Era.

You totally should feel loved, honey! You gave a HELL of a lot to these Games...
