Merry Christmas, Thank you and an invitation

Merry Christmas Everyone! I'm not really feeling it this year but I'm trying to be at least a little bit holiday minded. I hope that you are getting what you want and if you're not that the New Year treats you better. I keep reading about hard times on my flist and I can relate and am sorry for all of your private troubles.

I place so little faith in politicians and political parties but maybe, just maybe all the hype is meaningful in some fractional way and the new regime administration has some hope for all of us. I have my doubts but when it comes to politics I am a proper cynic.

I went to the obligatory Christmas Eve dinner tonite, totally not in the right mind space for it and my mother (who got me a gift despite my demand that she not) told me I had as much right as anyone to have a happy holiday.

I wish it was so easy.

So, for what its worth, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all that jazz.

Now on to my thank you.

It is breath taking isn't. thanfiction is such a fantastic artist and draws such a smoking hot Sirius and then siriuslyinluv71 and her photoshop obsession got a hold of it and well, you can see the result.

It is a rather good Sirius. I'm quite proud of it. I think it is one of the best pieces of Sirius/Hermione art I've ever seen. I'm anxiously anticipating the Bom Chicka Wow Wow he is working on for me.

OMG I cannot put into words the elation...it means so much to me thank you!

I only ever force my friend to come up with scenarios which involve me and Sirius whenever we speak over the phone. My current ex-friend wrote short tidbits as a gift or a cheerer-upper every now and then, but a piece of online literature dedicated to me was just ......

Hey how can I not love you anymore when I devour your writing every chance I get?? I was just caught up in my work life...busiest I've ever been that's all :)
I'm just that sort of person who can't keep doing the same things frequently; need to take regular time-outs!
