Dear God, I love being from Texas!  A State Trooper friend of mine emailed me this link and swears up and down this story is TRUE.

The Pink Gorilla Suit

(I think the thing that made me that happiest was to know that there are men and women in Texas Law Enforcement that are fully literate.)

...ok, clearly I worked around TLE officers for too long, glad I'm out!

....this is me, skidding in to ask a completely random question: can you see posts by me on your friends' page? It's just, I've been informed that apparently I've gone invisible. So now am asking other folkies whether it's the same case for them, and they can't see my entries unless they go to my journal. *is baffled*

ETA: Ignore me. It's fixed now!

What did you have to do to get your posts to show up? I just lost a recent drabble I posted to my LJ.

Heh. Well, the thing is, my posts were always there, it's just you guys couldn't see them on your f-list, is all. I'm not used to having an entry dated into the future (like I do at the moment) and I'd forgotten to make it "out of order" which meant I was forced to date new entries out of order and... apparently those are invisible on friends' pages. So... just me being a techno-ignoramus as usual.

Well, dammit. It should be showing up in my flist and it still isn't. Only what I posted to [livejournal.com profile] grangerblack100 is there.

Hmmm. Wish I could offer some help with that, but I'm pretty ignorant about this kind of thing. I kind of learn by trial-and-error... I never even took Computing at highschool, lol, but went for Agriculture instead! ;)

Farmer Jen?
*snorts*

...oh, and I found it...waaaaaaay down at the end of the page and not where I thought it would be.

Heeey, ag was awesome fun! For a start, I like gardening. But secondly, the ag teacher didn't give a damn what we did so long as the work got done. Which meant shitloads of talking. Plus we ag students got to hang out up at the farmplot during lunchbreaks now and then, and nobody minded if my boyfriend kept me company. Whereas the librarian (the library was my other favourite haunt, which will surprise no-one) was an anti-couples nazi. ;)
