The further it moved along, the less like R/S it seemed. Sirius is not that down-trodden at that age, nor an actual criminal (shhh on the animagi thing), and Remus is not that whiney. They have now both of them gotten on my last nerve. I was going to go to 20 and if the story didn't lighten up a little I was going to quit. Then Iago hit his boss. His boss had it coming, but with the whole almost getting transferred thing, dangling a little hope only to snatch it away... yeah, my interest is officially lost. I don't want that much angst in my angst.
I love the eye candy and yes, I am totally predictable but I quit at 18. I was starting to lose interest because Iago couldn't catch a break, Clara is a bitch, Max is whiney, Beni - I can't decide if he is a scheister in disguise or if he is just fitting some cultural Italian icon of a ridiculous male. Berta and Max's friends are the only ones I can stand now. Even Iago is too whiney. I like a little more gumption in my male leads, less 'oh, life, please run me over'. Iago is a cutie, but he is no Sirius.
