eprime wrote me this sinfully delicious piece to help me recover. Trust me, I feel better already. :) I love so many things about this piece. It has such a 70's feel to it, and despite being an AU, also feels very canon. Like canon only nine degrees to the left. She's able to create that feel because the war atmosphere is very present, even though it is shifted to the background a bit.
The whole piece absolutely smolders with sexual tension, you don't even miss that there is no smut. Sirius is not shy at all about going after what he wants, undaunted as he spits one rejected cheesy come on after another. His ego is made of Teflon, this one. I really love game of cat and mouse he's playing with Remus, and of course, in the end Sirius gets his man. This one is precious and not to be missed
