"But its a bike," she said nervously. Nervous because she could see it all slipping away, suddenly so insubstantial and impossible to hold, like smoke or sand at the beach through grasping fingers.

Sirius sighed, heavily, and fixeed her with a look. They both knew she was stalling.

"Okay, fine, it is a magically enhanced bike that hates me. Please, Sirius, there has to be another way," she pleaded. She hated begging but no one had ever made her happier and the thought of being without this man in her life made her blood run like ice in her veins.

Sirius' hand slid from the handle bar as he walked toward her. When he lay it against her neck to look into her eyes, she closed them and reveled in the warm, rough texture. "I love you," she whispered. "Don't do this."

"Come fly with me," he said softly, his breath ghosting across her lips. "If you just, if you at least try, then I will too. You've got to meet me halfway."

"She doesn't like me," said Hermione, a bit pathetically, but she heard the defeat in her voice, Sirius' low chuckle confirming that he had heard it too.

"She will," he rumbled and then his mouth was on hers. There was nothing polite about the kiss, Sirius had been controlling himself to good affect, but now they both knew he had her right where he wanted her. His tongue plunged into her mouth, claiming her thoroughly and reminding her that she belonged to him. His other arm wrapped tight around her, pulling her close.

"You bastard," she said, pulling away as she realized what had just happened. "You planned this, you knew I would-" She stopped. She hadn't agreed to anything.

"Knew you would, what?" he asked, trailing his lips along her neck. Hermione tried to push herself back, but he just held her tighter.

"You fight dirty," she murmured, trying to remember why she cared with his lips on her neck making her knees weak.

"Never said otherwise," he replied, biting softly on her collarbone. "I'm surprised you thought I would let you get away so easily. Now get on the bike."

"I-"

"We are going to see the world, you and I, and we are going to do it from this bike. I wasn't having you on when I said I was bored and restless. I am, I want to get out there and see everything and I want you with me."

And really, how exactly was one to argue with that?

LOL! Now I know why you titled it fighting dirty. Can't be raised by Slytherin's and grow up with the Marauders and not have a few sneaky tendancies.
Way to go Sirius!!! =D

This has long been my thought about Sirius. I believe him to be a Gryffindor through and through with a little edge of Slytherin to him. :)

Proud of my boy here!

I absolutely love it when you start out writing these drabbles and concede to your friends' requests and continue them.....you pack in so much stuff into your words that too few of them leaves us desperate Ceredwen.....

I think you should banned from doing drabbles woman... ;)

The least you could do is have the courtesy to post them in a bunch as a distorted one-shot....

I totally love you and your muse :)

*gasps*

Banned? Don't ban me honey, I need my outlet. It always fun to try and meet a fans request.

We love you, too! ;)

LMAO! Go Sirius.

It would have been interesting to see what happened if this backfired on Sirius (maybe we could see that, wink wink, lol).

Heh. I've got stuff planned. I do. I do. As soon as my personal life settles a bit.

Someday I'm going to write a perfectly angsty ending with no joy!! Just kidding. I wish I had the killer instinct, sadly it fails me when it comes to Sirius!

Poor Sirius had enough woe heaped upon him by JK Rowling, that is why we should always strive to give him a happy ending. :)

Oh I loved them all. I'm glad Hermione finally gave in. That last line is so true lol

Isn't it though? How does a girl refuse a determined Sirius? I know I couldn't.

*pumps fist in air* YES!

And THAT'S the way you win a fight!
Beautifully--and craftily--done!

Hee! Thank you, Sirius can be a crafty bastard at times, me thinks.

Thank you for reading these, that was awfully sweet of you.

From: [identity profile] dogsunderfoot.livejournal.com

Oh, there's nothing sweet about me, really. I'm too much of an impulsive, selfish goofball. Okay, yeah, I started to read them because of you, but after that, I was reading them because I was hooked. I'm not polished and polite enough to fake enthusiasm over stories that aren't any good. And, let's face it, there are so many good stories on the 'net, I won't waste my time reading ficlet after ficlet from one author if I'm not enjoying them. I would have read one or two, then stopped and gone on to ones that I really liked. I honestly loved yours!

I told you I don't care who Remus is, er, 'enjoying'--I feel the same way about Sirius, too, I suppose. I admit I wondered about if Sirius/Hermione could work; now I think you could have easily dragged me down this fangirl road!

You too? Seriously, this is why I relate to Sirius so much. I see a lot of his character traits, his behavior and feelings reflected in my own life. From his quirkiness to his selfishness to his depression. I'm sure it's ego-centric but I loved him because he reminded me of me and made it okay to be such a little freak girl at times.
