Have you read the Twilight series? It is nothing short of fangirl crack.

I know better than to absolutely love the fandom. I know it us utter rubbish and I can write you pages and pages about why it is utter rubbish.



So, when I read Twilight I have a special cd that duck_or_rabbit made for me, the title of which is Stone Cold Edward and I put it on and settle into bed and...



Yeah....it's that bad...

No, I haven't read Twilight - at some stage I will, but I've heard such conflicting reviews about it (hate/love) that I haven't brought myself to try it yet, lol.

Love and hate go equally hand in hand. The things that are bad about Twilight are just that atrocious. Meyer is a very poor writer, however her story is really wonderful with the glaring exception that you see the world through Bella's eyes and you will quickly get to the point where you want to slap her. Edward is wonderful, a little controlling but that could also be because Bella's life is constantly in danger.

I never thought I would read a romance/horror and want the vamp to bite the girl.

Heh, it was realising (via facebook, I think!) that everyone actually wants the vamp to bite the girl that made me realise I really have to get around to reading them...!
