Thank heavens they were able to figure out the problem with relative ease, although it's surprising how much pain gall bladders can give you. Mine actually burst before I went in and let me tell you they shot me up with morphine so fast (I am allergic to a lot of pain killers.) and with so much, I was high as a kite and still puking my life away because of the pain.
Of course, they immediately removed mine.
So I feel your pain. It actually is a pretty easy surgery to recover from, just make certain though you tell them not to staple you shut if you have a sensitivity to metal. That's the one thing they really did wrong on me and I have the scars to prove it still.
