I was a bit terrified about my gall bladder op, but that was because the docs kept telling me that mine were the hugest stones he'd ever seen and he didn't know how they hadn't ripped up the tube between the GB and pancreas when they got stuck there and they'd probably have to do a full operation rather than keyhole surgery... blah, blah, blah... But I was willing to do it because I have never felt pain like a gall stone attack/pancreatitis before. Morphine is a GODSEND!
