Pay Increase

The pay increases are close. We are doing a presentation for HR to explain our very technial jobs.

To celebrate and siphon off some nerves I sent Tom this text:

Don't get carried away. I just want to know if you are providing for yourself. (I asked him if he would head off to the Alaskan outback with a chainsaw slung over his shoulder. He chose to interpret this NOT as the lumberjack joke it was but as me expressing concern for his wellbeing. *rolls eyes*)

Incidently, our pay increases are around the the corner and we are looking at comfortable bumps in the 20-30% ranges. Hahahahaha. Just so we're clear. You really can't come home to

Oh yes, now that's one way to go about being clear about one's intentions.

So I take it the divorce is still on? Must admit to feeling a bit out of the loop, but sounds like you're doing good :)

I'm sorry sweetie. I know you care and you've been a wonderful support to me. I thought I granted you access to everything I post but if I didn't it was an oversight. Sometimes too though I skip around, I apologize.
