Spinning and twirling her around the dance floor with a smile she couldn’t stop, Sirius gazed down at his wife as he guided her effortlessly. She had a soundless laugh on her open, smiling lips and he had an urge to lower his head and taste her sweetness.

As he dipped to indulge in that kiss, he was interrupted by a nudge on the arm.

“Count down is about to start,” said Harry, holding out two glasses of champagne, one for him and one for her. “You can wait that long can’t you?”

Sirius growled out a soft purr with an almost sinister smile, a small warning that it really wasn’t Harry’s place to say when and where he kisses Hermione.

Best friend or not.

I always wondered what the hell happened with Breathe..... Yeah... I have one of those one-chapter... fics that I've never updated...

I was planning to write one where Sirius is the next Dark Lord... and Hermione is captured.... and somehow (I don't know how) they are supposed to fall in love... and Sirius is supposed to get his memory back... *sigh*

I don't know....

Trust me... you are not the only person with endless unposted fics.

Hell, I have like 30 Ginny oneshots I've never posted.... mostly because it's garbage and unfinished.

Then there are Sirius/James fics that I have half written... but don't have the energy to write more off.

*sigh*

I hate forcing myself to write, because then... the writing isn't the way you want it.

Well, for me, the trouble is usually the first bit. Sometimes I start with smut because it is easy to write and not terribly imaginative but it gets my fingers to the keyboard. I love writing but for some reason, sometimes getting that initial focus is tough. I can't use smut as a lure though because they aren't there in Breath and I can't think about them that way in that fic. The passion has to come from her anger for now.

Smut is a lure but it isn't permanent. For my fics personally I have a smut undertone either in the middle or the beginning of the fic, otherwise it's mostly PG-13. I have trouble writing smut.... so I tend to ignore it all together.

Well, you're still young. Just wait until your glorious 30's!

That's not the reason I ignore it. It's more the fact that I can't write it.

And waiting still I am in my glorious 30....

If ten years from now.... I still haven't moved on from Harry Potter... I give you permission to shoot me.

LOL.

You won't be. You'll have passed a dozen passions by, enjoyed them and used them up and moved on.

At least you didn't discover how much you enjoy writing in your late 30's. Think of all the time you'll have to perfect the art!

That's great to know!

And the funny thing about that is... I don't enjoy writing (your probably wide eyed). I just like Harry Potter....

Wait... let me rephrase that. Harry Potter got me into writing....

I am wide eyed. Wide, wide, wide eyed. Why on earth would you spend time on something you don't like? That's nuts, dear!

No no no.

You misunderstood me (and here I am again spamming your lj)

I like writing now.......

See... when I first heard about fanfiction, I considered it a JOKE.

I read one just to laugh at it.... and then another, and another....

Then all of the sudden... I was into fanfiction....

So I started writing... my first story was a DRAMIONE (kill me)....

But now... I love writing... it's a good stress reliever.
