The hard press of hot skin and grinding hip bones created a physical debt that had to be paid, a need that forced her tender female form to rise off the cotton covered mattress to meet his every hungry thrust. Whispered words of gentle encouragement became tinged with an urgent whine as his language descended into filth, rising in pitch and tone, harmonized by her panted, mewling moan. The approaching crisis of flesh forced their bodies together with an ever increasing tempo, mindless to anything but the pleasure they sought in each other. Bruised, scratched and sweaty, they hit the summit together as one, spilling, clenching and screaming as a single quivering entity before collapsing exhausted and sated, oblivion achieved.

I had a thought just now. I've seen this done, although rarely and always quite beautifully (of course I can think of no examples). You are musically educated, is there a way to incorporate music into your smut. It would elevate it a bit, to a level a little above the smutty porn into something that was truly erotica. I could never pull this off but god, I bet you could do amazing things with it.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here, only because I can think of several different ways of incorporating music into smut. Do you mean basing a scene off of a particular song (loosely or song-fic -like), using music as a poetic metaphor in the context of the smut, or incorporating music into the actual scene?

The first one is something I've been very roughly batting around as an idea - I have two or three songs that are gut deep passion and sensuality to me, but I hadn't considered making it so apparent in the writing so that a reader could recognize the song, if that makes sense.

As for incorporating music into an actual scene, well, that's kind of what I hope will happen in several places in my original fic, since it takes place in the music industry.

I have a general abhorence of songfic so I didn't mean that. What I meant was using the terminology of music to describe the act of sex.
