Indeed. It's not silly to get invested in characters for writers or illustrators. It's just that to me, no one is "right" in fanfiction, so it's one thing do choose to not draw a ship because they don't interest an illustrator, and it's another things to not draw them on principle; that's all I meant in reply to your statement that H/S artists were not easy to find.
