Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. This chapter was supposed to be emotionally intense for Sirius. He is anguished over his loss and he needed to express it. That being said, yes, my characters often take on the color of my emotional state. In some ways this is practically therapy for me. I'm not in touch with the Hermione/Sirius that exist in Innocence so as a consequence it is difficult to write them.

The story darkens a little here and the next chapter but then we will see him learn to adjust and continue his torture of Hermione.
