I love the subtle sexuality here. Sirius is irritated at his humiliation, and yet turned on by it, and therefore even more humiliated. It is a lovely little snarl he's got himself wrapped up in until it overwhelms and he needs honesty to ground himself which is where Remus loses it. This is just brilliant in the circling around and around on this theme. It is self-perpetuating and delicious.
