Real life is awkward and painful and has moments where you don't know how you are going to get to the next one. I'm glad that came through.

I've actually thought about this particular twist quite a bit. I don't honestly know that I could be convinced that something like this didn't push Sirius out of his home. Because he had to give up a lot and I wonder what would make him do that. The other thing I've up with is that his family possibly wanted him to be a death eater. They are so focused on purity and that wall of ancestors does say they spend a lot of time looking back, but it also heavily implies that they look forward as well.

I'm glad it felt real, that means a lot to me, and is something I strive for.
